Stefan Schneider, Pinna Bounce and Lefteris Theodosis present Phono-Bau, a musical performance that commemorates the centenary of the ground-breaking Bauhaus School.
The projects draw on the research of Bauhaus’s indistinct relationship with music and is inspired by two experimental techniques explored by László Moholy-Nagy, namely, the “Photogram” and the “Graphic Sound”. Altogether, Phono-Bau is an experimental attempt to construct a musical dialogue based on the ideas of the modern and fueled by the discussions between the three artists revolving around the historical events that shaped interwar Europe.
Phono-Bau was developed as part of the Transfer International program and is supported by the NRW KULTURsekretariat.
The performance will take place at TV Control Center (KET) independent art space in Athens .
