Black Minute Acid Blues

Black Minute Acid Blues
is a mix of improvised sonic explorations performed, recorded, and produced by Zeda Vega using a Fender Jazzmaster, MFB 522, Line 6 DL4, EHX Memory Man, Shin Ei Fuzz, EHX Octaver, Allen&Heath ZED 10 FX.
The mix is inspired by (and uses excerpts from…) the “Bayou Maharajah” film on piano legend James Booker, the man Dr. John described as “the best black, gay, one-eyed junkie piano genius New Orleans has ever produced.”

TAL is a record label based in Düsseldorf, Germany. Launched in early 2016 by electronic musician and producer Stefan Schneider, TAL explores and presents a wide topography of unique music styles: from Kenya’s contemporary folk music, to indigenous Venezuelan music from the 1960s onwards, and to collaborative efforts from Japan’s electronic music scene. Beyond its international approach towards releasing music, TAL aims to create spaces for collaborations with designers, artists, ethnologists or writers in order to patiently contribute to contemporary life.
